9TH ANNUAL FIREWORKS DISPLAY AT BRYANT LAKE
A fireworks display by Mr. & Mrs. Johnny R. Bryant will once again
convene at Bryant Lake on Saturday, July 4th, 2009. All of Dillon
Congregational is invited to attend at Dark:30.
CHICKEN BOG YOUTH FUND-RAISER
The Royal Rangers department will be having a youth fund-raiser on Saturday,
August 1st, 2009 at 12:00pm at the John L. Bryant Gymnasium. They will be
asking for donations for Chicken Bog Plates. Please order your tickets in
advance by calling the church at 843-774-2012.

RELAY FOR LIFE 2009 NEWS
Assistant Pastor, James W. Bryant will be leading this year's County Relay
for Life invocation at 6:00pm on Friday, May 14th, 2009 at the Wellness
Center. All registered team members are being asked to be at the campsite at
7:00pm sharp for a team photo. Please bring your own Sun Screen, Insect
Repellent, Chairs and Soda. A FREE Meal will be provided for all Registered
Team Members.

MOTHER'S DAY SERVICE
The Mother with the largest family connection in service this Sunday morning
will receive a Trophy, donated again this year by Johnny R. Bryant. There
will also be more gifts given away to mothers in attendance. Make your plans
to be in service.
5TH ANNUAL CAR SHOW A SUCCESS
This year's Relay for Life fund-raiser was another great success. A wealth
of monies was raised for the cause with a record amount of Contributors
helping out. To find out more simply visit our Car Show link from the

PASTOR'S APPRECIATION DAY
Pastor Bryant was surprised with this year's efforts of the church
reflecting their appreciation. A video was shown of some dear friends of his
wishing him a Happy Pastor's Appreciation Day. Wesley Luke, Dennis Campbell,
Tom Turner all sent in a video/audio hello that was shown to him on the
Visual Bulletin screen. There were also two old friends who are now deceased
giving the pastor happy PAD wishes as well. Jerry Moore & M. L. Hubbard.
The pastor was overcome with emotions as he heard from these two as if they
were still here... Monetary gifts were offered to the pastor along with a
"Generator" that he had been wanting for his shop. The video of
this service which also includes portion of the choir service as well as
Special Songs, etc., can be ordered at our Store Page.

CONDOLENCES
Condolences to the family of Mr. Franklin Rowell in their recent loss.
Brother Rowell passed late Tuesday evening, March 24th, 2009 at McCloud's
Hospital of Florence, SC. Visitation will be at Cooper's Funeral Home on
Thursday from 7:00-9:00pm. The funeral will be at Dillon Congregational on
Friday at 3:00pm.
MEN'S BROTHERHOOD MEETING
The Men's Brotherhood Department will be meeting on Thursday evening, March
26th, 2009 at 7:30 at the gymnasium. Guest speaker, Bobby Altman. Also
featuring the young physical phenom, "Clay Price" scheduled to
bench press in excess of 480lbs. At 17-yrs of age, Clay is one of the top 2
or 3 in the world who can accomplish this feat. He gives all of the credit
for his strength to our Lord, Christ Jesus.
DISTRICT CONFERENCE DATE CHANGE
The East Carolina District of the Congregational Holiness Church Inc. has
changed the meeting date from the 11th to the 25th of April 2009. For more
detailed information on this change simply contact district secretary, Judith
Luke.

BIBLE READERS 2008 AWARDS DAY
On Sunday, January 25th, 2009, Dillon Congregational recognized some
wonderful people for their recent accomplishments of having read thier bible
completely through in the year of 2008. Congregational
Holiness Church Inc.'s Christian Education Administrator, Danny
Jones, acknowledged their achievements by a letter to the church as well
as an Award Certificate for each of them. This was the highest number ever

Monday, January 19th - Monday, January 26th, 2009. Join with us and expect

PACK-A-PEW DAY
This Sunday, January 4th, 2008 will be the church' annual
"Pack-A-Pew" Day service. The person who has the largest in
attendance for them, who have been out for at least 1-Sunday AM service,
will win a nice trophy.
