Dillon Congregational ill be having it's quarterly youth program on Sunday,

SING-FLING 2009 RECAP
Once again this year raised a lot of monies that will be designated for kids
of the community. We were so thankful to have had Michelle Perry &
Terris Riley with us. They gave such a wonderful opening set that kicked the
night off right. And too we would like to give a special thanks to Carla
Monds of "Carla and the Redemption" Gospel recording artist.
Sister Carla is always by God ina mighty way. Tonight was certainly no
different.
There were many others from throughout the night as well. Ron Stubbs, Ray
Rogers, Billy Gaddy, Franklin Bryant, Paul Hyatt, Tony Allen, Bobby Altman,
Lance Williamson and many more!

SING FLING 2009 UPDATE
"A Night Filled With Praise Through Song!" Dillon Congregational
will once again be having its 6th annual Community Youth Fund-Raiser,
"SING-FLING 2009." This event will take place in the church'
gymnasium on Saturday, August 29th, 2009 from 5:00-8:00pm. Singers
contributing will be "CARLA MONDS" of "Carla & the
Redemption." Also, "MICHELLE PERRY" will be performing. Other
singers will come from all over the community. A meal will be made available
for a small donation. And the admission is FREE.

for Life invocation at 6:00pm on Friday, May 14th, 2009 at the Wellness
Center. All registered team members are being asked to be at the campsite at
7:00pm sharp for a team photo. Please bring your own Sun Screen, Insect
Repellent, Chairs and Soda. A FREE Meal will be provided for all Registered
Team Members.

MOTHER'S DAY SERVICE
The Mother with the largest family connection in service this Sunday morning
will receive a Trophy, donated again this year by Johnny R. Bryant. There
will also be more gifts given away to mothers in attendance. Make your plans

5TH ANNUAL CAR SHOW A SUCCESS
This year's Relay for Life fund-raiser was another great success. A wealth
of monies was raised for the cause with a record amount of Contributors

PASTOR'S APPRECIATION DAY
Pastor Bryant was surprised with this year's efforts of the church
reflecting their appreciation. A video was shown of some dear friends of his
wishing him a Happy Pastor's Appreciation Day. Wesley Luke, Dennis Campbell,
Tom Turner all sent in a video/audio hello that was shown to him on the
Visual Bulletin screen. There were also two old friends who are now deceased
giving the pastor happy PAD wishes as well. Jerry Moore & M. L. Hubbard.
The pastor was overcome with emotions as he heard from these two as if they
were still here... Monetary gifts were offered to the pastor along with a
"Generator" that he had been wanting for his shop. The video of
this service which also includes portion of the choir service as well as

CONDOLENCES
Condolences to the family of Mr. Franklin Rowell in their recent loss.
Brother Rowell passed late Tuesday evening, March 24th, 2009 at McCloud's
Hospital of Florence, SC. Visitation will be at Cooper's Funeral Home on
Thursday from 7:00-9:00pm. The funeral will be at Dillon Congregational on
Friday at 3:00pm.
MEN'S BROTHERHOOD MEETING
The Men's Brotherhood Department will be meeting on Thursday evening, March
26th, 2009 at 7:30 at the gymnasium. Guest speaker, Bobby Altman. Also
featuring the young physical phenom, "Clay Price" scheduled to
bench press in excess of 480lbs. At 17-yrs of age, Clay is one of the top 2
or 3 in the world who can accomplish this feat. He gives all of the credit
for his strength to our Lord, Christ Jesus.
DISTRICT CONFERENCE DATE CHANGE
The East Carolina District of the Congregational Holiness Church Inc. has
changed the meeting date from the 11th to the 25th of April 2009. For more

General World Missions Director of the Congregational Holiness Church Inc.,
was in Dillon Congregational on Sunday evening. He was the guest speaker and
gave a stirring message entitled, "Jehovah Jealous." You can hear

ROYAL RANGERS FUND-RAISER
The boys Royal Rangers department will be conducting a fund-raiser at Harbor
Freight this coming Saturday, March 14th, 2009 beginning at 10:00am. Be sure
to go out and support this ministry with your donations and or purchases for
the cause.

CONDOLENCES TO THE JAMES BAILEY FAMILY
Condolences to the James Bailey family who passed this past week. James was
the son of the late Maxton Bailey and is survived by his Mother, Siblings,
Children & Friends. Visitation will be this evening at Cooper's Funeral
home from 7:00 - 9:00pm. The Funeral will convene at 3:00pm at Dillon
Congregational on Sunday, February 15th, 2009.

Condolences to the family of Lucy Caddell who passed this past week. She is
the wife of the late Harold Caddell and mother of children Archie, Ramona
Faye & Joey. Visitation will be this evening, Wednesday, February 12th,
2009 at Cooper's Funeral Home. The Funeral service will also convene at
3:00pm on Thursday, February 13th, 2009 at Cooper's.

Last Sunday pastor John Bryant stated that he would give the lady that
brought the largest pocket book to Sunday School this Sunday, $5.00. His
wife Sarah surprised him by being selected the winner.

BIBLE READERS 2008 AWARDS DAY
On Sunday, January 25th, 2009, Dillon Congregational recognized some
wonderful people for their recent accomplishments of having read thier bible
completely through in the year of 2008. Congregational
Holiness Church Inc.'s Christian Education Administrator, Danny
Jones, acknowledged their achievements by a letter to the church as well
as an Award Certificate for each of them. This was the highest number ever
of individuals submitted by the Dillon church. Pictured Back to Front and

All of the Sunday School Teachers Staff are being asked to report to Class
#5 this Sunday at 9:30am for a meeting.

Coming next month Dillon Congregational will be asking every member and
visitor to be in Sunday School on Sunday, February 14th, 2009 at 10:00am.
The Teachers with 100% present and with the most above that mark, will win
both win a monetary gift certificate. Please be present on this day and
support your Sunday School Class and your Teachers. "Don't Break Their

REVIVAL IN ELGIN, SC
Elgin Congregational will be holding a week-end revival meeting services on
Saturday, January 24th, 2009 at 7:00pm. Sunday services at 11:00am &
6:00pm. The pastor invites all who are able to come.

This Sunday, January 4th, 2008 will be the church' annual
"Pack-A-Pew" Day service. The person who has the largest in
attendance for them, who have been out for at least 1-Sunday AM service,
will win a nice trophy.
